Rick atop mountain

The original purpose of this blog was to archive Rick’s frequent trips. He has visited more than 50 countries but those journeys are only well documented since 1997.

Favourite countries include Nepal, Laos, India, Peru and Guatemala. Anywhere with good hiking, actually. The S.W. USA ranks as the most beautiful place of all.

Rick’s personal travels are identified by the term “travelogue”, a subset of the general travel category.

Functionally, the easiest way to find something of interest is to use the SEARCH box:

SEARCH “Belize” for example.

Rick’s most recent extended trip was Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Florida in early 2006.

He later made a jaunt through Idaho, Montana and Wyoming in June 2006.

And later that summer a month long tour Indianapolis, California, St. Paul, New Brunswick and PEI.

And in the Fall (the 4th trip of the year) BC, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona

You (in a new window) can browse the archive of travelogue postings 2005 and earlier .
