Australia, New Zealand & South Africa participate in one of the premiere sports in the Southern Hemisphere — Rugby Union. (Not Rugby League or my personal favourite, Rugby Sevens)
In 2006, the Super 12 became the Super 14, with the Western Force joining from Perth, Australia, and the Central Cheetahs joining from the Free State and Northern Cape Provinces, South Africa.
The finals were predictable. My old home team, the Christchurch Crusaders won in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2005 & again in 2006. Congratulations!
