Am I wrong?
Still trying to figure out how slow “sucks” is on this chart.
Tonight my QOS is only 20%. (whatever that is)
Kristian out in Okotoks on Telus (DSL) Highspeed wireless came through at 98% !
Warren in Saskatoon reports 87% though it drops dramatically depending on what he is doing.

Download: 1,185,032 bps
Upload: 119,800 bps
QOS: 20%
RTT: 77 ms
MaxPause: 527 ms

I think that maybe QOS does not mean what you think it means. From their description:
QOS: InternetFrog.com reports the Quality of Service (QOS) for your connection, which represents the level of consistent download capacity provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). The higher QOS percentage, the higher the overall quality of the connection – which results in better connections for high traffic applications, such as streaming content (audio, video, VoIP calls, etc.)
This has essentially nothing to do with my satisfaction with most of what I do on the Internet. I want high speed downloads, and medium speed uploads. I do not need immediate response to each and every packet I send. Buffering is okay, as long as the average bandwidth is greater than my streaming need. ShawCable is giving me this. My usual seems to be about 4-5 Mbps down, and 400 kbps up. The measurement they do is between a single computer and their site. It has to share your connection with all the other computers/routers in the house. Don’t trust them to be idle unless they are turned off.
what i like about cable internet is that it is almost immune to electrical noise which always degrades DSL lines ;’-
shaw cable in my area (vancouver) has intermittent disconnects every couple hour or so. It only lasts a minute or two but internet gets cut off very regularly. If your just surfing the web it’s fine, but if your a online gamer like me, expect to get plenty of games ruined if you are with shaw.
