Rockin’ sent me a link to an episode of a TV show called Shopping Bags. (On the Not-For-Men Network.)

Yeesh.

Looks like another trashy reality show. Here’s the gist.

Two pretty hosts invade a home or trailer and ridicule the possessions and lifestyle of the “real people”.

(If the home is too unphotogenic, they edit in a stand-in. It’s all done with CGI.)

On the pretext of a “free improvement” to the hellhole, they systematically embarrass everyone in the household, starting with the teenage daughter.

(Often they bring in a model for this part.)

The family in this episode — the Sawchuks — …, you know, they look, somehow familiar.

Why, why do people agree to go on reality TV?
