I bought one a month ago. I ended up paying a little more, mostly because I really wanted the 6 cell battery. And yes, it does seem that I have 6 hours of battery life. Mine is blue, came with WinXP, 1 Gig of RAM and a 120 Gig hard drive. The 6 cell battery sticks out a bit beyond the hinge (well, maybe a lot).
I am pretty happy with it. I was originally expecting the get the Linux version, but XP is nice to have. Everything just works on it as expected, including Skype with the built-in web-cam. Great toy, $429 for my version.
