Taking Comfort in Rituals
Actually, I’m not all that much in love with Starbucks burnt coffee.
But as a provider of free wireless internet, Starbucks is beloved to me.
If they sold cocaine instead of caffeine, I’d still likely be taking comfort there.

I found I was wasting far too much money there – as I too love it.
So, I bought one of those ceramic travel cups that look like a paper cup. Finally I can my awesome at home latte with me and it tastes right. It never did in the metal or plastic ones.
I add to that Trader Joe’s scones and I am set for the week of afternoon coffee. Once per week I still treat myself to the real thing. But a good $30/week is being saved…..
