My curmudgeonly mentor was named Best Professor at University of Saskatchewan 2010 in some dubious free local magazine called Planet S.

I attribute his win to the fact that he only infrequently appeared at his own lectures, instead traveling the world in his role as chair of the International Gymnastics Federation Sport Science Committee.

I’ll nominate him for grumpiest professor in next year’s poll.
