My week long Gymnastics Coaching course in Manila ended, I planned to bus to the rugged mountains of the northern Philippines for hiking.
… yet somehow I ended up here.
Boracay seems to be a Russian resort, judging by the most spoken language on the beach.

Boracay is absolutely beautiful. If you go to the fish markets, you can bring the food to a nearby restaurant to cook it. These restaurants exist only to cook the food from the fish market and do not hold their own stock. They have the flavourings and utensils to cook the food and provide you with the plates and cutlery to eat it. We bought prawns from the fish market and had the restaurant make us garlic prawns.
Also, try hiring a boat and go island hopping! The scenery is breathtaking – but I’m sure you already know all this 🙂 Enjoy!
