My uncle died after long illness.
He was a great character, a great sportsman. If you met Bob, you’d not have forgotten him.
He lived large.

… Bob was born at home in Lomond, Alberta to Christina and Bob Moore on June 1, 1933. He spent his childhood in Calgary playing sports – mostly hockey – and raising pigeons. After earning his masters ticket for sheet metal he went to work on the Alaska pipeline. Returning to Calgary, he joined the Calgary Fire Department and retired after thirty years of service. When not working, he golfed, hunted and fished. On one of his summer fishing trips to Vancouver Island he met his cherished wife Lydia and her son Mark. …
