I hate football, yet loved Friday Night Lights, partly because of Connie Britton.

I dislike both Country and Western music. Would Connie Britton convince me to like Nashville?

Season 1 got a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. People love it. 

For me it’s OK. Not nearly as good as Friday Night Lights. Too much soap opera. I doubt I’ll go on to season 2.
