The Life We Bury by Allen Eskens

An excellent first novel.

I’d never heard of Allen Eskens until this book was recommended to me.

He has a journalism degree from the University of Minnesota and a law degree from Hamline University. 

The Life We Bury (2014) won awards.

First it was rejected by 150 agents.
