Having seen this commercial, especially the part where each of the pair of Isuzus squeeze up onto a single pair of wheels, I realize only now that Rick’s carbogganing was not the insane deathwish that it may have appeared to be at the time, but actually an heroic attempt to join forces with his brothers across the Pacific!
(As you may or may not recall, Rick would often carboggan down Calgary tobogganing hills while performing a handstand on the steering wheel – which only approached the maximum fun limit when there was a terrified passenger sitting beside him. In fact, wasn’t it shortly after these episodes that Amy moved to Vancouver and I began to lose my hair?)
