Email is problematic. You’re going to have problems, especially with attachments.
But of the major players, Hotmail sucks worst.
I was happy to hear they were going to roll out some improvements. Perhaps be only 3yrs behind Gmail.
But once I got the upgrade, I’ve had nothing but problems. It just crashed Safari on the Mac, a supported browser. Only FLASH can crash Safari! … until now.

For me the new Hotmail is terribly slow. Is missing the jump to page navigation. But worst of all is how image attachments are displayed. Gak.
If Microsoft would let me forward my old Hotmail, I’d be long gone. But they won’t, preferring to trap me in Hotmail prison.

I check my Hotmail about once a year now….
As for Gmail – I hate it.
Perhaps I don’t understand it well enough, but the lack of folders drives me nuts.
I am a Yahoo user, and fairly contented.
Although, I used Outlook for my former job, which worked fine.
you can make your own folders in Gmail…and then have things automatically dropped into those folders…
There is a way to do that in Gmail now, Dave.
I’ve never bothered to learn how though. The only categorizing I do is with the “STAR”. … Using it for follow-up.
Seems my hotmail experience is far worse than anyone else. … I wonder what I’ve done wrong.
