Great TV – The Crown

Impressive. I have nothing but respect for everyone in this TV series.

Jared Harris as King George VI is the star of the season Premiere.

But Lithgow as Churchill is astonishingly good too. In fact I love all the casting.

Man in the High Castle – season 2

I read one bad review. And almost decided not to bother with season 2.

But with Dictator Trump looming this TV series seemed too timely to pass up.

As it turned out, I’m glad I continued watching. Season 2 is not as good as season 1, but I still recommend it.

Sherlock – The Lying Detective

I was somewhat disappointed with the last episode – Six Thatchers.

But this one was better. It kept me going throughout.

Actor Toby Jones playing the bad guy is the highlight.

Sherlock – season 4

Kate and I watched the first episode — The Six Thatchers.

Not bad. Watchable. But not nearly as engaging as season 1.

I could have used subtitles to better understand the fast and confusing dialogue.

Stranger Things – my review

After reading some great reviews, I downloaded season 1.

It’s excellent.

These latchkey kids got a lot more excited for Dungeons and Dragons than I did, however.

Netflix is doing something fantastic with this experiment. It’s made by fewer people than any other TV show.

Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven is superb.
