I’ve been spending a lot of time on the computer since getting back from Central America. My newest laptop accessory makes me much more efficient!
Project #1 is BestHike.com — a website with an actual (future) business plan. : )
But the site that is catching-on quickest is a blog for gymnastics coaches. A search for “gymnastics” in Technorati.com makes it look like mine is the most popular in the blogosphere.
At least today.
Cool.

“Stephen Colbert” and “Colbert” have been the top Technorati searches all week, which is a nice real-life example of how mainstream media and the blogosphere are SO different.

For decades people like me (people who have never been in Space) claimed the Great Wall the only man-made object visible from space.
Well, maybe if you really, really squint.
The Great Pyramids and the Toyota Dome in Houston are actually easier to spot.

I always feel badly treated in rent-a-wreck offices. They act as if I am going to ruin their precious vehicle.
At least half the automatic toilets do not work properly. And why do they not have a manual over-ride?
I recently had a bad experience: the toilet did not flush, the sink not turn on, and the auto blow dryer failed. OUCH.
These days I fear to step into a public washroom.

President Not Amused.
Despite a shaky start, Stephen Colbert’s spin-off late night Comedy Central TV show is now more essential viewing than The Daily Show with John Stewart.
Colbert pretends to be a rabid right wing pro-Bush TV talk show host. And he is hilarious.
George Bush has probably never seen Colbert’s show. But he knows the routine now after being nuked by Colbert at the annual dinner for political correspondents dinner.
I finally got to see the amazing Cobb portable BBQ in action. It can roast, bake, smoke and fry. Highest quality materials, the class of it’s field, I highly recommend it.
500F — yet cool enough to pick up and carry across the room.
It’s time for me to upgrade from my older model.
