Apple iPhoto is a mess
In the beginning, I organized my digital photos using ACDSee.
And it was good.
Soon they dropped support for Mac.
And I was sad. 😦
iPhoto sorta worked. It became my default. And had some good features.
Happily :-), Warren convinced me to buy a flickr Pro account. Long ago.
I uploaded the best of the best.

In 2013 my 35,000 photos on flickr is my core database of pics.
Here’s my #1 most popular photo.
I use it as an icon for @GymCoaching
I have at least 50,000 more photos, not on flickr. Scattered over multiple defunct Apple devices. And backup hard drives.

What a fantastic day!
I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy the classic African Game Park tour — but I loved it.
Addo Elephant National Park is a diverse wildlife conservation park situated close to Port Elizabeth …
It currently ranks third in size after Kruger National Park and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier …
… expansion will mean not only that the park contains five of South Africa’s seven major vegetation zones (biomes), but also that it will be the only park in the world to house Africa’s “Big 7” (elephant, rhinoceros, lion, buffalo, leopard, whale and great white shark) in their natural habitat.
Flora and fauna
More than 450 elephants, 400 Cape buffalo, over 48 endangered black rhino …
Lion and spotted hyena has also recently been re-introduced to the area.
The largest remaining population of the flightless dung beetle (Circellium bacchus) is located within the park. …
Most exciting was a rare sighting of the bar-eared fox – 4 of them. (VIDEO)

Rick at Great West Gym Fest
I’m proud to have been a part of Dave Adlard’s Great West Gym Fest, easily the best gymnastics competition I know.
Again for 2013 I was responsible for website – GreatWestGymFest.com – and social media.
Most of each day you’d find me wandering the gym with cameras.
Our Facebook page was very active. But our Twitter feed nearly dead. It’s not caught on yet amongst gymnasts in the Pacific N.W.
