My long time friend Dana Brass got married. Had a puppy. And a baby. Went on American Maternity (3 months). Then decided to leave her full-time job as a senior Cirque du Soleil casting scout to be a MOM.
Next decision in this long chain of life events?
She went home to Saskatchewan to coach at her old gymnastics club for a few months.
Coaching is a holiday, after all.

I look at my photography like this. When I make an image it belongs to me. It belongs to me while I take the photo. It belongs to me while it sits in my camera. It belongs to me while I process it on my Mac. It belongs to me while I let it sit in an archive folder waiting to be uploaded to the internet. Then I upload it to the internet and it’s like I’m taking a bird and opening my window and letting it go. Off she goes. Her song to be enjoyed by the entire world — certainly no longer mine.

… We are still slowing down, with normal wear and tear on our 77 and 76 year old bodies, but fortunately, nothing serious. These are the highlights of our year.
